FOCUS

MGP (Miss Gold Pageant) is  one of Bash Project to showcase what the Nigerian and African Woman Can Become apart from what they are measured by in Africa.

The Average woman in Africa is often measured by the things she cannot control. She's measured by her body curves; flat, straight or round. She's measured by 32-24-36 inches, age and number. She is measured by all the outside things that don't add up to who she is on the inside. From the list of Icons such as;

Margret Ekpo

She was a Nigerian women's rights activist and social mobilizer who was a pioneering female politician in the country's First Republic and a leading member of a class of traditional Nigerian women activists, many of whom rallied women beyond notions of ethnic solidarity.
She played major roles as a grassroot and nationalist politician in the Eastern Nigerian city of Aba, in the era of an hierarchical and male-dominated movement towards independence, with her rise not the least helped by the socialization of women's role into that of helpmates or appendages to the careers of males.

Ellen Johnson Sirleaf

Ellen Johnson Sirleaf is the 24th President of the Republic of Liberia and the first elected female Head of State in Africa. She is serving her second term as President after winning the 2011 presidential election.

President Sirleaf has, throughout her career, demonstrated passionate commitment to hard work, integrity and good governance, advocating for the rights of women and the importance of education to provide a better future for her country and its people.  She has revived national hope by strengthening the institutions of national security and good governance, leading the revitalization of the national economy and infrastructure, and restoring Liberia’s international reputation and credibility.

Hon. Justice Aloma Mariam Mukhtar

This women have all left a mark in the society and Africa at large with their hard work and positive attitude.
